Every year at the South Calgary Show ‘N Shine, we get to see amazing cars, trucks, and motorcycles all polished up and looking their best. Part of what makes our show special is recognizing the owners who put so much time and love into their vehicles.
We give out several awards at our show. There’s the Legacy Awards for people continuing traditions through a vehicle. The Best in Show goes to the vehicle voted for by our judges. The People’s Choice Award is where everyone who attends gets to vote for their favorite. And we have Best in Class awards for the top truck, car, and motorcycle.
In this post, we’ll show you who won what this year and share some photos of the awesome vehicles that caught everyone’s eye at this year’s South Calgary Show ‘N Shine.
Best of Show
Best of Show is voted by our committee team for the best overall show car for the event. This top award goes to the vehicle that wows our judges the most, showing amazing attention to detail inside and out.
People’s Choice Award
The People’s Choice Award is decided by you – the attendees of our show! Everyone who comes to the South Calgary Show ‘N Shine gets a chance to vote for their favorite vehicle. This award celebrates the car, truck, or motorcycle that captures the hearts of the crowd, regardless of category or class.
Legacy Award
The Legacy Award is awarded to those who carry on a legacy of a vehicle, or to someone who influences generations through the love of vehicles. This award celebrates the stories behind the vehicles and the people who keep automotive traditions alive in their families or communities. It’s not just about having a great-looking vehicle – it’s about the passion that gets passed down from one generation to the next.
Best in Class
The Best in Class for Car award goes to the top automobile as voted by attendees in this category. This crowd favorite represents the best of the best among cars at this year’s South Calgary Show ‘N Shine.
The Best in Class for Truck award goes to the top truck as voted by attendees in this category. This crowd favorite represents the best of the best among trucks at this year’s South Calgary Show ‘N Shine.
The Best in Class for Motorcycle award goes to the top bike as voted by attendees in this category. This crowd favorite represents the best of the best among motorcycles at this year’s South Calgary Show ‘N Shine.
